Pitfall Harry explored the most treacherous jungles in the world, but he never imagined what awaited him beyond the jungle…

While exploring the caverns of South America, Harry fell into a dimensional rift that transported him to a world of unearthly dangers. This mysterious land, once inhabited by the ancient Moku civilization, has been decimated by an evil temptress…Now her next target is Earth, and it’s up to Harry to defeat her army of sinister creatures to save it!

  • Next Generation Adventure: Swing on vines, jump acid-filled pits, hurdle dissolving platforms, avoid scorpions, and encounter new pitfalls, like energy fields and morphing beasts.
  • True 360° Exploration: Scramble through city ruins, trek through an active volcano, and escape a prison colony before the final battle in the Scourge’s Lair.
  • Killer Powers and Moves: Attack real-time 3-D creatures with never-before-seen weapons and power-ups, use swift moves to evade enemies that morph from the ground.
  • Incredible Game Mechanic: Encounter blue lucense that causes flotation, exploding platforms, swinging rings, bursting lava pits and homing proximity mines.

 

 

 

Variants

The first variant on the docket is the KayBee Toys $10 Rebate version. It includes a sticker on the shrink wrap calling out the promotion. Once opened, the case holds a coupon sheet for the promotion. Funny enough, the coupon was reused for the Electronics Boutique demo disc. The barcode is 0 47875 10299 6.

My sealed copy looks to have had a call out sticker removed. It’s not sure if this was removing the sticker to not call out a then expired phone card, or if the sticker from the $10 Coupon version was applied accidentally and then removed.

    Enter “CRANESBABY” as a password. Once you’re in-game, do the following for a few neat tricks.
  • Change Head to Atari 2600 Programmer
    Press R1 + R2. Press again to deactivate
  • Change Head to Programmer’s Daughter
    Press R1 + Circle. Press again to deactivate
  • Crocodile Message
    Press R1 + Triangle while on a crocodile screen.
