Variants

This one can go either way, but every time I look at it I believe it is a variant. It’s hard to tell in pictures, but to the naked eye in real life there are clearly two different shades of  discs out there. One of our best associates in the field discovered it, and as a graphic designer its failry interesting close up.

Normally if there’s a color difference, it’s just printer shift, or running low on ink, or someone set the saturation too high. However, if you zoom on the screenprinting, they’re slightly different in application. Pretty nifty. I even had to use a photo of the disc because I couldn’t color correct it to match!
