Secrets

War Jetz has a ridiculous amount of hidden passwords. Due to the crazy amount, I’ve separated them into categories for easier reading and decision-making. Note that many codes have tiers to them, and the higher-ranking, better versions will overwrite the others. For example, if you just type in the code for Bomb Ball Opus, it will give you the mini-game and both mod menus all in one code.

Passwords

From the Main Menu, choose ‘Input Code’ and then you can enter any of the following passwords. Just for fun, I’ve added what the code is actually short for in quotes afterward. This includes any needed reference explanations.

Bomb Ball Mini-Game

• Unlock Plain Bomb Ball
  Enter “BMBBLL” as a code and you’ll see ‘Bomb Ball On’ appear to confirm (“Bomb Ball”). Opens up the new mode Bomb Ball. Get a giant red ball into the opponent’s goal! 2-player only. If playing single player the other player will just attack you. It’s Rocket League with Jets!
• Unlock Weapons-Mod Bomb Ball
  Enter “CDDDHLR” as a code and you’ll see ‘Bomb Ball Weapons On’ to confirm (“???”). This will unlock the first version of the secret mini-menu. Once inside Bomb Ball, pause the game and press Select. This brings up a very cool mini-menu that will allow you to mess with the weapon respawn dynamics. Power Up Weights will determine on a scale from 0 to 10 what their respawn chances are. 0 means they’re out of the game, while 10 means they’re widespread.
• Unlock Full-Mod Bomb Ball
  Enter “QPVS” as a code to see ‘Bomb Ball Opus’ to confirm (“Opus” spelled with all consonants – references the nickname of programmer Doug Lanford. The handle comes from the Bloom County comic penguin). The ultimate Bomb Ball code! This contains the same weapons trick of the 2nd code, but you also now have ball physics! Ball physics allows you to mess with its interactive properties. A Low gravity value makes it float for a long time! Up and Down move the cursor, Left and Right change the value, Cross confirms and brings you back to the Pause Menu.

Cheat Sets

• The First Twelve Cheats
  Enter “TWLVCHTS” as a code to see ‘All Cheats’ appear (“Twelve Cheats”). It’s the 11 unlockable cheats you would be awarded for finishing the game with each squad on Normal and Expert with this cheat counting as #12.
• Every Cheat Unlocked
  Enter “ZTJRWLDW” as a code to see ‘Super Cheats’ pop-on screen. (“WDL War Jetz” spelled backward) – This unlocks and activates almost every cheat in the menu. Be wary.

Health

• Invulnerable
  Enter “MRCHBB” as a code and ‘Invulnerable On’ will appear to confirm (“Mr. Chubb?”). Players take no damage when the code is on.
• Take 50% Less Damage
  Enter “CHNKY” as a code and ‘Half Damage On’ will appear to confirm (“Chunky”). The player now takes take 50% less damage from various enemy attacks.
• Double Health
  Enter “FLYNGTNK” as a code and ‘Thick Armor On’ will appear to confirm (“Flying Tank”). Gives the player double health.
• Vampire Mode
  Enter “SLRP” as a code and ‘Vampire Mode On’ will appear to confirm (“Slurp”). Now you’ll earn health back with each object you destroy. Pretty cool little mode.
• Invulnerable Convoys
  Enter “NPRBLM” as a code and the phrase ‘Mega Convoy On’ will appear to confirm (“No Problem”). Any escort boats or planes you must protect are now impervious to enemy fire.

Modification Codes

• All Planes
  Enter “SHWRM” as a code and the phrase ‘All Planes On’ will appear (“Showroom”). Allows players to select any jet in the game.
• Super Speed
  Enter “STBLT” as a code and the phrase ‘Fast Planes On’ will appear (“Seatbelt”). The plane’s default and max speeds are doubled. You cruise!
• Super Slow Speed
  Enter “SKTCHY” as a code and the phrase ‘Hover Mode On’ will appear (“Sketchy”). The jets can now slow down to a hover.

Money

• No World Destruction League Tax / Bribes / Etc
  Enter “SWSSBNK” as a code. ‘No WDL Tax On’ will appear to confirm (“Swiss Bank”). This strips out the money penalty at the end of the level.
• Double the Money Pick-Ups
  Enter “KCHNG” as a code. ‘Double Bux On’ will appear to confirm (“Ka-ching” – The sound of a cash register). Gives players 2x Bux on pick-up.
• 300 Bux to Start With
  Enter “WRCHST” as a code. ‘Lots of Bux’ will appear to confirm (“Warchest”). Gives you 300 Bux to start with.

Movies

• Unlock the 5 Host Segments FMV
  Enter the code: “DVD” to see “All Movies On”. Now go to the Options Screen, choose War Jetz from the movie section, and instead of the PlayStation 2 trailer, you will see all five Host Segments in order. Press Cross to advance through them.
• Unlock Every FMV Segment in the Game
  Enter the code “GRTD” to see “Every Movie On” appear (“Great Idea” – possibly). Now go to the Options Screen, choose War Jetz from the movie section, and instead of the PlayStation 2 trailer, you will have access to every FMV cinematic in the game. This overrides the first code.

Stage Codes

• Unlock All The Teams in Novice Difficulty
  Enter “TLNTS” as the code (“Atlantis”).  This opens up all the team areas, but not their individual levels.
• Unlock Every Level
  Enter “NTRPL” as a code to see ‘Level Select Off’ appear (“INTERPOL”). Usually, only the Easy and Medium stages are available at the start. This will unlock the Hard Stages for the Freaks and Tomcats teams and then allows you to pick which of the three areas to play.
• Unlock the Overlords Team (Final Boss)
  Enter “CRNFX” as a code and the message ‘Overlords On’ will appear to confirm (“Carnifex” – after the executioner in Rome). Unlocks the final team in the game.

Weapons and Powerups Codes

• Acquire All Weapons
  Enter “NFCH” as a code and ‘All Weapons On’ will appear to confirm. (“???”). Your planes will start with all 5 secondary weapons and 3 bomb types.
• Infinite Weapon
  Enter “SPW” as a code and you’ll see ‘Free Ammo On’ pop-up (“Spew”). All weapons will have infinite ammo.
• Medium Sized Bullets
  Enter “PNFL” as a code and the phrase ‘Bigger Guns On’ will appear(“Painful”). This provides faster, larger bullets.
• Largest Sized Bullets
  Enter “QDDMG” as a code and you’ll see ‘Biggest Guns On’ (“Quad Damage”). Provides even faster, larger bullets.
• Fire Both Weapons
  Enter “TWFRN” as a code to see ‘Dual Fire On’ pop-up to confirm (“Twofer On”). With this turned on, in Bombing view, you will fire a bomb AND a secondary weapon at the same time. Keep an eye on ammo.
• Hyper Fast Bullets
  Enter “BRRRT” as the code (“BRRRT” is the sound of a rapid-fire chain gun). Now your main gun fires really, really fast.
• Spin Shot
  Enter “SPNNY” as a code and you’ll see ‘Spin shots on’ pop-up. (“Spinny”). When you are in flight Mode, you’ll see your secondary weapon is blank with “99” as the counter. Pressing Square fires a spinning ring of bullets.
• Lazer Spread Shot
  Enter “ZPPY” as a code and you’ll see ‘Speed Shots On’ (“Zappy”). Once in the game, press Triangle until you see a blank square in your secondary weapon slot with 400 on the counter. Pressing Square unleashes a cool red-tinted spread-like weapon.
• Keep All Power-Ups
  Enter “GVTBCK” as a code and it will display ‘Keep Powerups’ (“Give It Back”). Players will now retain their powerups even after dying.
• Unlock 1 Ultimate Nuke
  Enter “FTMN” as a code. Displays the ‘Nukes On’ sentence. (“Fatman”, in reference to the actual Fatman bomb). Arms you with a single nuke. It kills everything on the screen, including you.
• Infinite Electronic Counter-Measures (ECMs)
  Enter “SMKTRL” as a code (“Smoke Trail”).  The player will now have infinite ECM to use.
• Automatic ECM Usage
  Enter “CHFFMTC” as the code to have ‘Auto ECM On’ appear (“Chaffmatic”). Once a missile locks on, your plane will auto-dispense an ECM.
