…X-Plosive Catastrophe Imminent… Time-based gameplay. The Earth is on a collision course! Your every move counts. Battle vicious X-Bosses and create powerful weapons with their stolen energies. The year is 21XX and the chaos of the Reploid Wars has passed. Lunar colonization is at its peek. The largest colony, Eurasia, is unexpectedly taken over by an unknown band of galactic terrorists. Its artificial gravity device has been hacked and Eurasia is now on a collision course with Earth. The only way to stop it is to deploy an ancient beam cannon, Codename: Enigma. Join Mega Man X and his pal, Zero as they race against time to collect the necessary parts to restart Enigma, prevent total annihilation and save life on Earth! |
Variants
Mega Man X5 had a print run that is either a misprint, or possibly cheaper. The first version has silver ‘clear’ sections in the artwork where the disc’s silver peeks through. In this release, the silver versions are colored in white.
It’s unclear if this is a misprint or not as other games, like Star Ocean, have the same style of variant.
