Nightmare Creatures – a bloody good time in jolly old London. In 1834 on London’s blackest eve, a secret cult known as The Brotherhood of Hecate, rediscovered the key to man’s unholiest fears. It was through this arcane act of terror that the evil leader of the Brotherhood, Adam Crowley, swore to overtake the world…Ever since this fateful night, not a London street, alley or town square has escaped the whispered screams of “Nightmare Creatures!”

Programmers Cheats
- Base Cheat Code Screen

Left, Up, Triangle, Down, Triangle, Triangle, Cross, Up.Confirm the code, and then start a new game. Before you choose your character, a new Cheat Menu will appear with the following options:-
- Unlimited
Turning this on will give you unlimited secondary items. - Play Monster
Turning this on will override your choice of character with a giant monster creature. - Start (Level Name)
This is a Level Select. Use right and left on the directional pad to choose a starting level, and then Cross to accept. Note that some of the level names vary in their spelling from the in-level spellings.

- Additional Cheat Codes
Once you have the Base Cheat Code activated (see above), you can then start adding in more code options. These codes must be entered while you are in the Cheat Code Screen.- Blurry Mode
Press L1, L2, L2, L1, L2, L2, L1, Select. A chime will confirm you got it. Turning this on permanently adds the death blur effect during game play. it kind of hurts the eyes, if I’m being honest. - Team Greetings
Press L1, R1, L1, L1, R1, R1, R1, L1, L2, R1, L2, L1, R2, R1, R2, L1, Select. A chime will confirm entry. Once activated, start a new game and you’ll be swept away to a hidden art gallery. Both rooms feature portraits of the development team. Going up to one will cause the picture’s name, position, and a small personal message pop up. There are two rooms to explore, and then you can exit out to the game from the large black doorway. Pretty neat! - Music Select
Press L1, L1, L1, L1, R1, R1, R1, Select. A chime will confirm entry. You will see ‘Track Options’ appear in the Cheat Menu; turn it on. Start the game as usual and pause. At the bottom of the pause menu you will now see ‘Track (Name) (Number)’. Use left and right to select a track, and press Cross to play. - One Hit Kills
Press L1, R1, L2, R2, Select. A chime will let you know it’s active. In the cheat menu you’ll now see ‘Gut Body On / Off’. Turning it on will allow you to kill most enemies in one hit. Good times. - Small Monsters
Press L2, L2, R1, R1, L1, R2, Select. A chime will acknowledge you did it right. In the Cheat menu you will now see ‘Reduce On / Off’. Activating it will see the enemy creatures shrink down to about a 1/3rd of their original size. While funny, it does make them harder to hit. Be safe! - Disable Combos
Press Press L1, R1, L2, R2, L1, L1, R2, Select. A chime confirms it. In the Cheat Menu will now be an option labelled ‘Disable Combos On / Off’. Turning this on removes your ability to perform the in-game combos.
- Blurry Mode
- Infinite Health – Manually
An unexpected bonus arises once you have the Base Cheat Code’s ‘Unlimited’ option turned on (see above). One of the secondary items is a red healing orb. If you set this as the default item and press the Item button, it heals you. For infinite health, just leave it as your default item and jam on the Item button to refill your health infinitely.
