Enclosures
The offer featured on the manual cover was in reference to saving $5.00 buying both NCAA Football Gamebreaker and NFL Game Day 97. You would send in the needed items to snag $5 back.
Variants
So it looks like NCAA Gamebreaker has been lying to us all along. The game’s UPC is wrong – by the check digit of all things. On the printed insert, the last digit is 8 – it should be 4. Sony appears to have realized their mistake and had copies fitted with stickers covering the mistake. Current research hasn’t revealed any corrected inserts.

Trivia
- It appears something happened with NCAA Football GameBreaker at the manufacturing plant. At least three confirmed copies, including my own sealed copy, had discs with brutally shattered hubs. It’s unclear if this was some sort of assembly line issue or manufacturing defect. Keep an eye out when looking for one.
