Variants
There is a confirmed Canadian variant of the blue disc version, with a catch. The game’s overall packaging is 99% the same as the US one, except for the Security seal which reads SLUS-01019F with the UPC 6 62248 90017 9. My copy was purchased brand new, but usually, these Square variants would come with a French Manual (Hence the “F” in the SLUS). Mine did not, so I do not know if it never came with one, or if mine was missing what would have been an externally sealed manual.
I should also point out that both blue discs are the same color – there’s a sheen on the disc that freaks out my scanner, hence the different results.
Back in the USA, there was an alternate printing that gave the disc a soft white art treatment, which matched the other games in Squaresoft’s lineup at the time.
