Trivia
- The game is actually stuck in naming hell. In Japan, SNK released the Neo Geo 64 arcade machines to a very limited audience. Two games of importance to this fact were Samurai Shodown 64 and Samurai Shodown 64: Warriors Rage. In Japan, this game is actually different and separate from that second arcade release. Eastern copies are known as Warrior’s Rage 2. Here in America, we get the new name of Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage instead. If you never followed SNK games, then you wouldn’t be confused. If you followed SNK, congrats! This is your Final Fantasy III / 6 moment.
- The PlayStation game is refined from its arcade brethren, distancing itself from many of the 3D game play mechanics originally seen in the NG64 versions.
