It’s finally the end of March, and honestly it’s been a heck of a ride. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like 20 years from now. I at least home some people are still inside enjoying games. Today’s releases bring two underdogs and a licensed video game, but that license is very large one.
From the standard releases comes Vanark, originally called Astro Trooper Vanark in Japan. It’s an on-rails shooter where you get to choose your wing-man and your additional weaponry.
Our second flying and shooting game is Eagle One: Harrier Attack. While some might scoff at another flying game, the fact that you’re flying over Hawaii in a Harrier Jet does give it some originality compared to the other titles in the genre.
Finally, the big one, Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles lands on the home front. The game turns the entire movie into one long Jedi fight – and having seen the movie, I’d rather play with these Jedi.
That’s it for March – and there’s no games till April 13. See you then!
