Trivia

  • 40 Wink’s original N64 version was originally cancelled, but 19 years after the fact it was publicly released by Piko Interactive after a successful Kickstarter in 2018.
  • The cover includes the review quote, “Move over Mario…” – Nintendo Official Magazine, which is not only ironic for it being on the PlayStation game, but that it was originally never released for a Nintendo system.
  • If you take into consideration that Croc started out life as a potential Yoshi game, it would mark two instances of a Nintendo entity appearing in the PlayStation universe. Yoshi’s cancelled and then recycled game, and Mario in the previous Trivia fact.
