Toy Soldiers Take To The Skies

Pilot one of four helicopters through the treacherous terrain of the backyard, picnic areas, and nearby beaches. Engage in Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground combat with enemies ranging from battleships to butterflies. Utilize the unique abilities of each airship to capture giant Teddy Bears, blow up sand castles and save Sarge from being melted by kids with a magnifying glass. Real Combat, Plastic Men.

  • Control 4 different toy helicopters armed with an arsenal of pyrotechnic weaponry.
  • Battle Tan soldiers and a variety of real-world enemies such as killer bees, fire ants, and the dreaded lawn sprinkler.
  • Take on a full compliment of plastic toy units: tanks, helicopters, jeeps, wind-up robots, ground troops and UFOs!
  • Conquer 16 one-player missions of bloodless, toy violence.
  • Team up in the split-screen Cooperative Mode or battle head-to-head in the competitive two-player mode.

 


Variants

Army Men: Air Attack was one of 3DO’s most popular releases – probably having to do with it just being a really cool Soviet Strike rip-off. This fame garnered it a Greatest Hits release and a Collector’s Edition version released in the Army Men 3-Pack.

In a curious side note, the Greatest Hits version replaces “Animated Violence” with just “Violence”, and then switches back for the CE version. The GH also gained a new SKU.
