Damn – after single game release days, today is a mammoth day of PlayStation owners…and their wallets! For the fans of already existing properties, let’s talk G-Police: Weapons of Justice. A sequel to the police vehicle combat game, you once again must take the wheel or flight stick and put down the criminal uprising.
Racing game fans who prefer their chariots without wheels get to take on the Mega Mall in the third entry of Psygnosis’ baby in Wipeout 3. Always an amazing soundtrack with some of the best white-knuckle racing you can find on the system.
Don’t think it’s all sequels today though – there’s new IPs arriving as well. Electronic Arts takes on wrestling fans with their entry of WCW Mayhem, starring Goldberg and a host of other wrestlers. Lots of in-game options can be found, with some pretty good looking graphics as well.
Finally, and most importantly is Capcom’s fresh take on their Resident Evil formula – and I don’t mean the T-Virus. Dino Crisis takes the tried and true game play style of RE, but now adds 3D graphics to the world and dinosaurs instead of zombies. It’s an amazing experience, and you should totally check it out! Early adopters get a chance to checkout Resident Evil 3 as well.
