Variants
This is a curious variant, and truth be told, I’m not sure which came first. The featured print run above has the disc art being extremely saturated, or deep in color. This variant disc art is much lighter, indicating that the “ink levels” of the imagery had been significantly reduced. Situations like the darker more saturated disc above, can lead to the ink not being absorbed or running off the material.
It’s not a misprint due to the spot color blacks of the Mayhem logo and ESRB logo being correct. Someone just adjusted the hue/saturation levels. The Harry Potter game had a similar situation.
