Box Copy:
HBO comedian Dana Gould fuels GEX with 300 hilarious one liners and sound effects. GEX’s mouth gets him in trouble, but it’s his thrashing tail and suction cup paws that get him out. GEX has been sucked into the Media Dimension, the place where cheesy 70’s movies go to retire. To escape he’s gotta kill TVs in each world. (remember that bumper sticker?)

Trivia
- If you’re confused by the game’s cover art, worry not. It’s a conversion of the 3DO’s original art. 3DO games (not all, but many) were packaged like PC games – a Jewel Case inside a cardboard box. The art was supposed to be Gex’s peeking out from the destroyed cardboard with the game behind him. It doesn’t quite work when the CD isn’t the same size as the real one.
- Gex’s sequels were in 3D; this was in 2D.
