WCW Nitro has an amazing amount of Cheats and codes, including easy access to all 48 characters.

• Access Hidden Arenas Early
  On the Options Menu, highlight “Ring” and press R1, R2, R1, R2, Select and then press Select mulptiple times to progress through the list. The secret rings will now appear. Move the rings in reverse by pressing L1, L2, L1, L2, Select.
• Completely Unlock All Arenas
  Want an easier version of the above code? At the title screen, press L1, L2, R1, R2, L1, L2, R1, R2, Select. A sound will confirm correct entry.
• Hidden Wrestlers and Characters
  At the screen that reads Start Game and Options, press R1, R1, R1, R1, L1, L1, L1, L1, R2, R2, R2, R2, L2, L2, L2, L2, Select. A sound will confirm, and a grand total of 48 hidden characters will pop up.
• Big Head Mode
  On the character Select screen, press R1, R1, R1, R1, R1, R1, R1, R2, Select. A sound will confirm correct entry. Repeat the code to turn it off.
• Big Head, Hands, and Feet Mode
  On the Character Select screen press R2, R2, R2, R2, R2, R2, R2, R2, R1, Select. A sound will confirm correct entry. Repeat the code to turn it off.
• Big Head Swell Mode
  On the Character Select screen press L1, L1, L1, L1, L1, L1, L1, L2, Select. A sound will confirm correct entry. Repeat the code to turn it off. Now every time you’re hit, your head will get bigger.
• Performance Mode
  At the title screen, press L2, L2, L2, L2, L1, L2, L1, L2, Select. A sound will confirm correct entry. This removes the crowd and some minor details to make the game run smoother.
• Wrestler Interference
  Press Select during a match.
• YMCA Dancing
  Press L2 when you are wrestling on the Disco stage. Both wrestlers will now do the YMCA dance.
• Eddie Guerrero & Alex Wright Alternate Rant
  If you click Circle on Eddie or Alex after his rant, they’ll change languages. May need to quickly press Circle for it to click over.
