Bust-a-Move 4 is chockful of some really fun secrets!

Programmer’s Cheats

  • Access All Characters
    At the title screen while “Push Start” blinks, quickly press Right, Right, Triangle, Left, Left. You will hear a crowd cheer if done correctly. This will fill out the roster with the remaining 6 hidden characters. You can access them in Versus Mode.
  • Tarot Card Reading
    At the title screen while “Push Start” blinks, quickly press Up, Triangle, Down, Triangle, Up. You will hear an odd crowd noise. Press Start, and then head into the Options screen. You will now see “Tarot Reading (Love)” in the list. Follow the on-screen prompts and you can have a 7-Draw Tarot Reading about your love life. Just don’t take it seriously.
  • Another World
    At the title screen while “Push Start” blinks, quickly press Triangle, Left, Right, Left, Triangle. You’ll hear a quirky little voice shout something and see a tiny version of Bubble Bobble’s boss spinning in the corner. Now choose Puzzle, then Arcade Mode and the starting formations of the puzzles will now be different.
  • Talk Demo Mode
    This requires three separate sets of codes to be entered within a very short time.
    First activate All Characters and Tarot Card Mode shown above. After entering both codes, press Square, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Square, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Square. You’ll hear the characters cheer. Enter the Options screen and under the Tarot Reading (Love) there is now a ‘Talk Demo’ option. Upon entering that, the choices are as follows:
    Player Side determines who speaks first, then choose which character is on which side. Press Start to see their pre-round conversations.
