Content
Write Away is a 1980’s educational program with a unique twist. The actors perform stories written and submitted by real students, usually between the 2nd and 6th grades. Within the context of the show, it offers insight into the writing process from the angle of a child. Imagine if Sesame Street were performed in the style of Saturday Night Live. Each disc contains several episodes and stories.
Disc 2 contains the following stories:
- Write Away Episode Two Introduction
- The Space Adventure by Emily Barkelew & Alexandra Gibney
- I Hate The Fall by Stephanie Sentel
- The Monster That Jean Scared by Jean Lowrey
- How To Brush Your Teeth by John Knight
- Hair by Brittany Cantrell
- Frasier’s Big Weekend By Clark Munson
- Chester the Crocodile by Ms. Brozda’s Class
- Brattylocks by Meridith Sutton
- Write Away Conclusion

Trivia
- The performers are from The Imagination Machine, which is still going strong in the present day. They even still retain their trademark overalls.
- None of the Write Away discs have manuals, likely because they wouldn’t need them. The discs are the PlayStation equivalent of a DVD. It’s just videos to watch.
