INTRODUCTION

Thank you for buying the PiranhaPad, an enhanced feature gamepad for the Sony PlayStation. The PiranhaPad features the traditional eight-way control of most entry-level gamepads, plus the added value of auto-fire, slow-motion, and an extra long 8 foot cord.

Your PiranhaPad package should include the PiranhaPad controller, instruction manual, registration card, and warranty card. If you are missing any of these items, please contact InterAct Accessories Customer Service at (410) 238-1426. Please take this time to fill out your registration card so you can receive updates and information on new products from InterAct.

Product Description

  • Eight fire buttons (X, O, Square, Triangle, L1, L2, R1, R2)
  • Thumb-controlled digital pad (Up , Down , Left , Right ) for directional control
  • Semi auto-fire function
  • Slow-motion function (switch located on underside of controller)

How to Set the Slow-Motion Function

The PiranhaPad features a slow-motion function compatible with any game, which will allow the START button to act as a “pause” button. To set the slow-motion function on your PiranhaPad, slide the slow-motion switch (located on the underside of the controller) to the right with your index finger. To cancel slow-motion, simply slide the switch to the left.

NOTE: This feature does not alter the programming of the game; it merely simulates a slow-motion effect by rapidly pausing and resuming the game.

How to Set the Semi-Auto Fire Function

To activate the Semi-Auto Fire function, simply slide the SEMI-AUTO switch to the “on” position. When the Semi-Auto function is activated, the depression of any of the fire buttons will create a continuous fire function as long as the button is pressed. When SEMI-AUTO is set to “off”, pressing a button will only generate one shot until that button is released and pressed again.

NOTE: Not all games support the use of the Semi-Auto Fire function.

Care for the Unit & Troubleshooting
