The 2-Ring hub variant shown above will have a black and green ‘hype’ sticker on the physical case. It’s security seal will have Virgin as the publisher with spaces in the security sticker’s UPC.

Also printed with a 1-Ring hub version.

The 1-Ring Hub version (raised, not flat) does not have the black and green sticker on the front of the case. Sealed copies will list Take Two as the publisher on the Security Sticker, with the security sticker barcode having no spaces.

Secrets

Black Dawn is chock full of passwords and cheat codes. Makes blasting things a lot of fun.

Passcodes

You will need to jump to the Options Screen, enter the appropriate code and the return the title screen. Start the game and you’re good to go.

Unlockables

• Behind-the-Scenes Video Clip
  Finish the game on Rockin’ Difficulty for a Behind-the-Scenes video. It features quick clips of Black Ops Entertainment in and around the office, including a scene from their earlier PlayStation game Agile Warrior.

Programmers Cheats

One of my favorite little touches of the game is the confirmation quote you hear when a successful cheat input is registered; it changes based on what stage you’re on.

• Become Invincible
  While paused, enter: Select, L2, Select, R2, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Square. You’ll hear a verbal comment to confirm. Back in game, your armor will possibly drop for one or two more hits, then after that you’re invincible.
• Cycle Gun Modes
  While paused enter: Select, L2, Select, R2, Select, Select, Select. Unpause and you’ll hear a verbal comment to confirm. Your gun will now raise up to a double shot. Repeat the code and it changes to a triple shot. If you repeat it once more, it returns to the single shot.
• Level Skip
  While paused enter: Select, L2, Select, R2, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Down, Down, Down. Once unpaused, you’ll hear a verbal comment to confirm and the ‘Operation Complete’ sequence will begin.
• Maximum Armor and Fuel
  While paused enter: Select, L2, Select, R2, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Circle. Once unpaused, you’ll hear a verbal comment to confirm. Now both Armor and Fuel will be fully stocked.
• Maximum Weapons
  While paused enter: Select, L2, Select, R2, L1, L2, R1, R2. Once unpaused, you’ll hear a verbal comment to confirm and you’ll have a bountiful amount of weapons.
• Perfect / Clean Pause
  Pause the game, then press Select, L2, Select, R2, Down, R1, R2. Once unpaused, pause again and you’ll have a clean view of the paused game. Repeat the code to bring back the Pause Menu. This is fantastic for people looking to do screenshots.
• Summon Wingman
  While paused enter: Select, L2, Select, R2, Square, Square, Square, Circle. Once unpaused, you’ll hear a verbal comment to confirm. Your wingman will appear in a few seconds to help save the day.
• Upgrade Current Weapon
  While paused enter: Select, L2, Select, R2, L1, L1, R1, R1. Once unpaused, you’ll hear a verbal comment to confirm. A star will appear next to your currently equipped weapon.
• Two-Player Mode
  At the Main Screen press and hold Select + R2 on both controllers. A new menu will pop up with 1 Player, Options, and 2 Players Vs. If you choose Options, Player 2 will now have their own controller setting. The map will then show NYC Death Match. Once 2 Players Vs is set, you and a 2nd player will have a one-on-one overhead aerial battle.
