December 5 New Releases: Simba’s Mighty Adventure and More!

Happy December everyone! With stuffing and cranberry sauce behind us, it’s time to hunker down under warm blankets with some hot cocoa and enjoy the holiday releases. This will be the original PlayStation’s last big holiday with the PS2 taking over, and there’s still a whole lot of heavy hitters coming, especially for role playing game fans. Let’s get into today’s releases.

First out of the bag is Big Ol’ Bass 2 from Konami. The next game in what was once their Fisherman’s Bait series. Bigger, meaner fish await this time.

Our featured game is up next with Disney’s The Lion King: Simba’s Mighty Adventure. Based off the movie of the same name, you play Simba as you work your way around various locations and mini-games.

Finally, The 3DO Company returns with Warriors of Might and Magic. Take on the roll of a man trapped in a ‘mask of shame’ as he realizes he’s the world’s last hope of survival. It will also be available on the PlayStation 2.
