Lots of action on and off the ice in the Living History Project today!
We lead off with the cold steel on ice of NHL Face Off 2001. Sony’s continuing rivalry with EA Sports gives gamers the competition at the registers and on the game systems. Love seeing these battle of the brands still going strong all these years later.
Next up is the return of the man, myth, and legend Tony Hawk. Activision begins hawk-ing (see what I did there?) the follow-up Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 today. The best feature? You can now transition between tricks, allowing for one super long string of tricks and grinds.
Our featured game is Danger Girl – based on the comic of the same name. Play one of three female leads as you stop an evil plot. Looks good, plays well. Clearly aimed at 13-year old boys though.
See you in a couple of days!
