I hope you’re all enjoying the summer weather, but when the picnics and the ball games retire to dinner, you need something to entertain yourself when the sun sets. Today PlayStation offers you three solutions to that problem, and almost all of them involve solving something.
Right off the bat is Ultimate 8 Ball, a new pool / billiards game from THQ. Offering 14 different ways to play, there’s no shortage when it comes to variety.

We also have The Next Tetris, which offers all new ways to lose your mind when you drop the long piece into the wrong spot.

Finally, our cover game, Fighter Maker. This one is not for the squeamish or those looking for instant gratification. While th ebase game is essentially Simple Tekken, you can actually go in and edit any of the 800 moves and tie them to one of the characters. Meaning you can now actually create the fighter you want to make. It’s a long, long road though.

Next week we get Sony’s newest game, except it’s going to force you to buy a new controller. We’ll see how well that goes.
