The digging out from shipment boxes continues, as the PlayStation gains another 5 games in one day. The headline comes from the first letters of each of the 5 games, so let’s get this wagon moving.
First off the television screens is NewKidCo’s Tiny Toon Adventures game, which if you played the 8-Bit and 16-BIt versions, might be surprised to find out this is a point and click adventure. From the little I messed around with it, it looks and feels like the cartoon’s humor is intact.
From the opposite end of the ESRB spectrum is Apocalypse, a game where you literally play Bruce Willis, facial scan and everything, as he runs around the future trying to save the world from destruction.
For the arcade minded folk, Darkstalkers 3 lands into your grubby little hands with 20 points in Fighters Edge currency should you need an over-priced water bottle.
For Contra fans who are still feeling the sting of Konami’s flagship series woes on PlayStation, Assault: Retribution can cure those wounds. A 2 player shooter with plenty of action.
And lastly, another movie game comes home with Disney / Pixar’s A Bug’s Life. The movie is adorable, the game’s pretty good, and really, that’s all you can ask for in a situation like this.
Tomorrow is a single game release. With a tiny window of reprieve from the release list. Be there!
