True 360° motion control for the 3D world has arrived. Imagine power so precise that it appears to be achieved by thought alone and provides an experience that makes game control feel natural and immersive. The ASCII Sphere 360° unleashes an entirely new dimension in controllers. Innovative PowerSensor ball technology, capable of 360 degrees of movement, enables gamers to interact in virtually every direction they can imagine possible. Six axes of full-freedom movement for compatible 3D games. That’s astounding analog accuracy with the ability to maneuver through 3D worlds by turning, twisting, pushing, pulling and tilting the Sphere 360°. So play 3D games the way they were meant to be played – with the ASCII Sphere 360°.

This contains a demo of the controller’s training program. The basic training involves simple motions with the sphere, while the advanced training requires you to fly through three-ring courses.

PSX PlayStation ASCII 360° Sphere Controller Demo

Demo Disc in Textured Paper Sleeve

Besides the controller and demo disc, there was the manual, a 2-sided game list sheet, the Read Me red sheet, a sticker for the various mode options, and the warranty card. All have been scanned in below.

I have tried so hard over the years to properly review this but it’s not happening. Simply a demo disc that comes with a controller to me. 🙂

Trivia

  • The controller’s functionality is listed as “Six Axis” – the same functionality name the PlayStation 3’s original controller used.
  • Despite there being a logo for it, I don’t recall the Six Axis icon ever being used on games that supported the controller.
  • The included paperwork differs between the USA and Europe releases.
