- Sent directly to stores in August 1998.
- Another demo that fully supports 8 players with 2 multi-taps and 8 controllers. It’s a wild time.
- The back of the sleeve uses slightly modified text from the retail release. It’s not clear if they’re corrections in a positive light or negative way. For example, the retail packaging claims 9 players were motion-captured, but the demo says there are only 8.
- Along with the demo disc, Sony released pre-order bonus guides, that you can check out in our guide gallery under Entis Publishers. So far Best Buy is the only known store to offer a sponsored demo and guide. Everyone else would have had a plain demo sleeve.
