JALECO PREPARES TO UNLEASH A VIDEO GAME EVENT BRAHMA Force: The Assault on Beldogger 9

Title: BRAHMA Force: The Assault on Beltlogger 9 * Platform: PlayStation

JALECO USA is set to take you on an adrenaline-fueled space adventure with the arrival of BRAHMA Force: The Assault on Beldogger 9.

BRAHMA. an acronym which stands for Bipedal Robotic Assault Heavy Mechanized Armor. The premier space and land superiority craft used by Consolidated Cosmic Forces.

This is bullseye. The resource excavation colony, Beltlogger 9. Consolidated Cosmic Forces Headquarters received a distress signal. Since then, all communications have ceased. Cosmic Marine Command has dispatched the carrier U.S.S. Seeker along with Taurus and BRAHMA Force squadrons under the code name Operation: Kingdom.

Mankind is faced with total annihilation when the vengeful Dionisio Vega seizes control of Beltlogger 9. As the hotshot leader of the elite BRAHMA Force squadron, only you can infiltrate the space fortress and save all of humanity. Strap yourself into the cockpit of a heavy mech where splitsecond decisions mean the difference between survival or death.

Prepare yourself for edge-of-your-seat suspense, white knuckle action and an ending that will blow you away! BRAHMA Force: The Assault on Beltlogger 9 will deliver complete three-dimensional freedom in the x,y, and z planes using the mech’s jump/boost feature. This means that the player will have the ability to explore entire spaces, not just hallways or corridors. “BRAHMA Force offers a unique combination of a detailed storyline, incredible graphics, intense gameplay and creative audio soundtrack. We feel it pushes the state-of-the-art in the 32-bit gaming experience.” states Greg Hasler, vice-president of Jaleco USA’s consumer division.

The game’s developer Genki Co. Ltd. is pulling out a11 the stops and has graciously agreed to rework their latest masterpiece. Already a top ten hit in Japan, the North American release of BRAHMA Force: The Assault on Beltlogger 9 will feature greatly enhanced gameplay with the addition of new enemies not found in the original version.

Larger enemies which appeared only in later levels now appear much sooner in the game. Not only are there more enemies in this release, they’re much smarter and more lethal as well.

Animation fans should take note that designer Makoto Kobayashi, whose credits include Z-Gundam and Venus Wars, was hired by Genki to create a strong visual style for the BRAHMA Force project.

In addition, Jaleco USA made a major investment in audio production. Several days were spent in a feature film sound studio where voice industry veterans and legends acted out the game’s dramatic script. Genki planner Masanobu Fukasawa traveled half-way around the world to personally supervised the dialogue re-recording. Get ready to kick the tires and light the fires! A PlayStation exclusive, BRAHMA Force: The Assault on Beltlogger 9 explodes onto the streets in the early second quarter of 1997.
