Demo Command Summary

Command the Super Apache

L2:
L1: Jink left
R2: Toggle HUD/Compass
R1: Jink right

Triangle: Wingtip System
Square: Rockets
Circle: Missiles
Cross: Guns
L2+R2: Press to drop cargo, hold

  • To automatically winch aboard assets, maneuver the Super Apache over the object.
  • To activate a targeting box for a particular weapon, press L2 + the appropriate action button

Command Other Vehicles

  • To transfer vehicles, land the Super Apache at a Vehicle Transfer Landing Zone. You automatically (and safely) board the new vehicle.
  • Ground vehicles to resume command of the Super Apache, hold L2+R2

A Direct Path to Your First Mission

  1. From the game screen, press START to access the SMFD. Blue diamonds mark the location of Mission #1 objectives.
  2. Press START to return to the game screen. A waypoint indicator appears on your compass – this green arrow indicates the direction of the objectives.
  3. D-Button to maneuver the Super Apache so the waypoint indicator is in the center of your compass.

Trivia

  • Given as a pre-order bonus for Nuclear Strike at retailers as well as given away at Fred Meyers stores.
  • The back of the sleeve contains a graphic design error. The thumb button symbol and controls are off by one bulletpoint. The Triangle should be lined up with the yellow dash above it. There is also a missing command on the L2 Button.
