Welcome to the final month of summer gaming! Today’s solitary release is Sony’s NFL GameDay 2002. Once more the 1st Party player takes on the 3rd Party Madden. It’s kind of incredible how long these two companies have been keeping up this pigskin rivalry, even with the PlayStation 2 now the main character in Sony’s arsenal.
2001 looks to be the final big swan song in the system’s crazy holiday releases, especially with developers all moving on to the bigger and better platforms. We’ll see how things turn out.
