Variants

One of the funnier variants – in the original release above, the TV Show’s ad sticker was placed on the jewel case. The problem is that when people tore the security sticker off, it was usually attached to the sticker. This tore the ad sticker at the top. Someone at USA Network must have seen gutted copies of this on retail shelves and gotten angry, so the sticker was moved to the shrink wrap in later copies.

While this saves the sticker from being torn….it’s on the shrinkwrap. So it would now have been tossed away.

Extra skills and cheats are available in Xena: Warrior Princess

  • Enable Full Armor and Attack Meter
    Highlight ‘New Game’ at the main menu and enter: Triangle, Square, Triangle, Square, Square, Up, Up, Up. A sound will confirm it.
  • Enable Invincibility
    Highlight ‘New Game’ at the main menu and enter: Up, Up, Up, Circle, Square, Up, Right, Left. A sound will confirm it.
  • Disable Cheats
    Highlight ‘New Game’ and Press Triangle 8 times. A sound will confirm entry.
  • Move List
    • Bicycle Kick: Up, Up, Triangle + Square. Tap Square for more hits – kind of wonky to get 100% of the time
    • Windmill Punch: Press Punch + Kick Together. Keep tapping for more swings.
    • Running Sweep: Run, and then press punch.
    • Low Hit: While blocking, press Cross.
    • Air Kick: While blocking, press Kick.
    • Various Flips: While blocking, press Left or Right to cartwheel, and Down to backflip.
