Sep. 18 New Releases: Future Ninja Fish

SO MANY GAMES. The holiday season is officially in full swing, as publishers hedge their bets on how far or how close to release their games to Christmas. September is usually reserved for the games you’ll play while you wait for the later ones, and there is no shortage of good games coming out for you PlayStation gamers. On the other hand…I think Sega Saturn folk are down to just waiting for Magic Knight RayEarth.

First out of the flat rate box is Activisions’s port of Tenchu: Stealth Assassins. A fantastic, if more slower-paced stealth game that has some incredible death sequences and tricks up its sleeve. You can even climb trees for a better view. This is feudal Japan at it’s finest.

Once you’re back in the Americas, time warp to the future with Electronic Arts’ Future Cop L.A.P.D. – an explosion filled action fest where you take on a not-ED-209-from-Robocop mech walker to eliminate the criminal element from Los Angeles.

Lastly, you can leave the planet entirely and head out into outer space to fight the big robotic fish in G. Darius from THQ. An excellent spaceship shooter that continues to pump out excellent arcade games and home sequels, G. Darius is a whopper of a good time for those who prefer dodging bullets as well as dispensing them.
