Secrets

Bio Freaks has some pretty funny if brutal cheat codes to it.

Programmer Cheats

These make combat a bit more interesting.

  • Random Select
Press L1 once to generate a random select on the character selection screen.
  • Taunt
When in the fight, press Left Punch + Right Kick while you are fighting.
  • Activate First Person View
This is a bit rough to play but neat to check out. During the match, press and hold L2 + R2 and  Back (‘away’ from your opponent). You’ll switch to a 1st Person view from within your character’s model. Controls will now change:
Up = Forward / Towards opponent
Down = Back / Away from opponent
    Left = Jumps
Right = DucksYou will need to change your character moves to execute them. For example, if a move is Back, Back + Punch, you now need to press Down, Down + Punch.

To disable 1st Person View hold L2 + R2, then press Down.

  • Headless Mode
Need a party trick for your next event? This slightly changes based on which mode you’re in, but here’s how it works: If playing Single Player: Choose your character, and when the question asks if you want Game Hints on, press and hold Up + L1 + L2 +R1 + R2. While holding those buttons, press the Cross to choose ‘No’ on the question. Keep holding them till you get to the actual fight’s intro sequence and let go as the characters do their walk-ins. Once the fight starts, your character’s head will explode, splattering the screen. The stump will keep bleeding the entire time. It will continue to explode each round until the fight ends.If playing Two-Player Versus: Press and hold the Up + L1 + L2 +R1 + R2 when the game asks for your Health level and then press Cross. Keep holding through the Level Select screen (but press Cross once to advance). Once you reach the intros, let go.
Mutilation One-Hit Kills

No need for Fatalities, in Bio Freaks you can instantly kill your opponent in the middle of the round, literally the first move if you’re lucky. Here are the moves for each character. If performed correctly, their fists will glow yellowish orange and they’ll begin the move.

  • Bullseye = Press Towards, Back + Right Punch (Spins and chops off their head.)
  • Delta = Forward, Back + Left Kick (Cuts them in half.)
  • Minatek = Towards, Back + Left Punch + Left Kick (Picks them up and bites off their head.)
  • PsyClown = Forward, Back + Left Punch, Left Kick (Hammers you in half.)
  • Purge = Back, Forward + Right Punch, Right Kick (He’ll shred them.)
  • Sabotage = Back, Hold Back + Right Punch + Right Kick (Plants an explosive javelin in person’s head.)
  • Ssapo = Forward, Back + Right Punch + Right Kick (Bites their head off.)
  • Zipperhead = Toward, Back + Right Punch (Cuts them in half.)
