Trivia

  • Twisted Metal is only one of 8 possible Long Box-era PlayStation games that are a single variant away from the “Perfect Five” variant set. That is, one of all three long boxes, jewel case, and Greatest Hits. So far it is believed that there is no “long box jewel / Saturn style” case variant, though. Only one turned up, and it was confirmed fake / assembled of other long box parts.
  • David Jaffe, who made his name truly famous with the God of War series on PS2, was an Assistant Producer on the Twisted Metal series.
  • The only game in the series to feature in-cockpit view.
