Welcome back everyone! Today’s bag of goodies from the mall yet again show the diversity of titles available on the PlayStation. Out of the gate is Rascal, an action game focusing on a boy with a bubble ray gun. Camera angle is a little wonky, but with the main character designed by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, it may prove interesting enough.
From there we jump to Lode Runner, an old PC game released to PlayStation with two game variations (whoo!) on the disc. It’s a simple looking, puzzle platformer. If you’re looking to go way old school and use more of the brain than your eyes, check this one out.
Finally, there is Broken Sword. A point and click adventure with gorgeous hand drawn animation, and a deep storyline. These types of games are more available on the PC, but it’s nice to finally see them gaining on foothold on the modern-day console. If anyone wants to translate Shadowgate to the PlayStation, I’d support them.
About four more games look to be coming down the March pipeline, and we’re ending the month on a very…uh…titular…title. Hee-hee. Catch you tomorrow.
